Bridgestone S21 Battlax Hypersport
The Bridgestone S21 Battlax Hypersport is a sport motorcycle tyre for riders of sport bikes who want sharper handling, strong grip and better mileage. Launched in 2016 as the evolution of the S20 EVO, it is designed to get the best from the newest machines in any conditions, without compromising safety or ride comfort.
Evolved from the S20 EVO
Bridgestone says the S21's agility makes it easier to handle than the S20 EVO and gives better contact feel in corners. The wet performance of the S20 EVO has been carried over. New features were then added to improve dry performance and extend mileage, so riders get more from the tyre on both fast roads and wet days.
Modified Tread Pattern for Stability and Cornering
A modified tread pattern improves stability, handling and cornering. The pattern increases tread rigidity and contact patch performance. Less slip in the contact area also reduces wear and adds to mileage.
Front Tyre: Precision with a Neutral Feel
The front tyre has a smaller crown profile, which gives better handling and precision through corners while keeping a neutral feel. It uses a triple-layer compound and high-stiffness bead fillers for damping and stability.
Rear Tyre: Traction, Feel and Longer Life
The rear tyre has a larger crown profile. Its groove positioning, together with an optimized belt construction, is credited with improving rear feel and cornering stability. The rear compound generates better traction and improves abrasion resistance for longer life.
New Shoulder Compound for Wet and Dry Grip
Both the front and rear tyres use a new shoulder compound developed at the molecular level. It gives a larger micro contact patch, for more grip, confidence and faster cornering in wet and dry conditions.
Developed with ULTIMAT EYE Technology
The rear tyre was developed using Bridgestone's ULTIMAT EYE technology. The 2015 announcement called the S21 the first tyre to benefit from that indoor testing facility.
Built for Sport Riding
The S21 Battlax Hypersport is a tubeless (TL) tyre with a W speed rating. It suits riders of sport motorcycles who want confident cornering, dependable wet grip and a tyre that lasts. Always confirm the correct tyre size and fitment for your motorcycle before ordering.
